Janet Pickel, MCSE, is the first Microsoft designated Small Business Specialist in the Sacramento Valley, and is responsible for design, implementation and maintenance of our clients’ small business networks. Janet has over 18 years experience in managing and designing networks and supporting end users.

Her past experience includes working up from a Field Technician at Hewlett-Packard, Roseville, supporting connectivity of HP (1996) employees, to Supervisor of all of PC Support Technicians. Since 1999 to 2003, she was the principal of J.P. Solutions as a Microsoft Certified Trainer and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, where she designed networks and trained IT professionals on design, implementation and maintenance of Microsoft Network Operating Systems. Prior to starting Sentinel Tech she was VP Technical Services and Operations Manager at Technify, Inc.

Janet is an active member of National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), the Women’s Leadership Foundation, and PacITPros.
